Australian Clients



Albany Community Hospice (WA) is an 8-bed inpatient palliative care service located in Albany and it is an integral part of the provision of palliative care in the region. PalCare client since 2017.



Ballarat Hospice Care Inc (VIC) provides specialist palliative care services within Ballarat City, Hepburn, the northwestern part of Golden Plains, and the western part of Moorabool. In-home care is provided to people with life-limiting illness, and to their families and carers. Banksia Palliative Care Service (VIC) is the only Community Palliative Care Service in the northeast suburbs of Melbourne, for the area encompassing the 3 local government areas of Banyule, Nillumbik and Whittlesea.




Cittamani Hospice Service (QLD) is a community-based organisation that provides professional and compassionate in-home palliative care on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. PalCare client since 2016




Eastern Palliative Care Association Inc (VIC) offers a full range of support programs to individuals suffering life-limiting or terminal illnesses and their families. EPC is the largest single provider of community-based palliative care services in Victoria. EPC services are provided to residents of Boroondara, Knox, Manningham, Maroondah, Monash, Whitehorse and Yarra Ranges. PalCare client since 2003.




Goulburn Valley Hospice Care Inc (VIC) provides community-based palliative care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. GVHCS provides care to residents of Greater Shepparton, and consultancy services to those in the West Hume region. PalCare client since 2008.




Karuna Hospice (QLD) is a Brisbane-based community palliative care service that provides in-home care in the Brisbane North, Caboolture and Redcliffe areas. PalCare client since 2013.



Ipswich Hospice is a seven-bed community facility, providing quality end of life palliative care to terminally ill people, and support for their families in a caring home-like environment.



Little Haven Palliative Care is one of Queensland's leading providers of community-based palliative care nursing services for patients with a terminal illness. Little Haven is NFP organisation, providing compassionate and professional palliative care and cancer support to people with an incurable illness and their loved ones in the Gympie and surrounding areas.




Melbourne Citymission Palliative Care (VIC) provides specialist palliative care services to the residents of Hume, Moreland, Darebin and Yarra. Services are provided 7 days per week, with limited services on weekends and public holidays. PalCare client since 2008.



Peninsula Home Hospice (VIC) is a community palliative care service that provides specialist care and practical support for residents of Frankston City, the Mornington Peninsula and part of Kingston. The service includes an after-hours service for current clients. PalCare client since 2010.



Palliative Care South East is a community palliative care service that cares for residents of Cardinia, Casey, Greater Dandenong and part of Kingston. Services are provided 7 days per week. PalCare client since 2009.

The Swan Hill Palliative Care Service delivers specialist community palliative care to people residing within the Rural City of Swan Hill (excluding Robinvale), Shire of Gannawarra (excluding Cohuna) and the Shire of Buloke.



New Zealand Clients


Cranford Hospice (North Island) is Hawke's Bay's leading palliative care provider. Their service is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Services are provided in patients' homes and in the inpatient unit. PalCare client since 2011.



Hospice Eastern Bay of Plenty (North Island) provides specialist palliative care services for patients and their families throughout the Eastern Bay of Plenty region. Services are provided in patients' homes and in the hospital. PalCare client since 2011.



Far North Hospice (North Island) is a community-based hospice that assists people living in the Far North of New Zealand, specifically the area from Cape Reinga to Mangamuka, North Hokianga to Taupo Bay. There also have a self-contained inpatient unit. Services are available Monday to Friday, with an after-hours on-call service for emergencies. PalCare client since 2004.



Hibiscus Hospice (North Island) is a specialist palliative care service that provides care for people living in the areas of Puhoi, south to Redvale and Army Bay, and west to Kaukapakapa. Services are provided in patients' homes, in the outpatient clinic and in the inpatient unit. PalCare client since 2007.



Hospice Kaipara (North Island) provides home-based support for patients and their families / whanau who need specialist care for their life-limiting illness. Services are provided for the residents of the Kaipara District, from the Waipoua Forest to Maungataroto and the Dargaville Township and its surrounds. PalCare client since 2004.



Lake Taupo Hospice (North Island) is a community-based hospice with a focus on caring for people in their homes. Care is provided to residents of the district, including northern National Park, Turangi, Kuratau, Taupo and through to Tarawera. PalCare client since 2011.



Mary Potter Hospice (North Island) provides a specialist palliative care service for people living with a terminal illness and their families. Services are provided in patients' homes and in the inpatient unit. There are three community palliative care teams, based in Wellington, Kapiti and Porirua. PalCare client since 2008. 




Hospice Mid-Northland (North Island) provides specialist palliative care services, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Services are available to residents of the Mid-Northland community, from Towai in the south to Taupo Bay in the north, and coast to coast in between. Services are provided in patients' homes. PalCare client since 2011. 



Nelson-Tasman Region Hospice (South Island) provides specialist palliative care services for people with a life-limiting illness. There is an inpatient unit and a community palliative care service. The community service cares for residents of Nelson / Richmond, and also the rural areas of Golden Bay, Motueka, Murchison and Wakefield. PalCare client since 2007



North Haven Hospice (North Island) provides a specialist palliative care service for people in the Whangarei area who are living with a life-limiting illness. This area stretches from Bland Bay in the north to Mangawhai Heads in the south. Services are provided in patients' homes and in the inpatient unit. PalCare client since 2004.



Hospice North Shore (North Island) provides palliative care services to residents of the North Shore, from Devonport to Albany. Services are provided in patients' homes and in the inpatient unit. PalCare client since 2007.



Rotorua Community Hospice (North Island) provides a free, home-based specialist palliative care service. Care is provided for people with a life-limiting illness and their families / whanau. To complement the home-based service, there is a 24-hour on-call nursing service and a weekly day-stay program. PalCare client since 2011.



Hospice Southland (South Island) is a specialist palliative care service for residents of the Southland region. Services are provided in patients' homes or the inpatient unit, and there is also a day program. PalCare client since 2008.



Hospice Tairawhiti (North Island) provides community-based hospice care for the people of Tairawhiti (Gisborne region), from Morere to Potaka. PalCare client since 2016.



Hospice Taranaki (North Island) provides a range of community and inpatient services for people who are living with a life-limiting illness and their families/whanau. Care is available for Taranaki residents 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. PalCare client since 2009.



Te Omanga Hospice (North Island) provides specialist palliative care services in patients' homes or in the inpatient unit. It is a 24-hour service that responds to the individual needs of patients and their families. PalCare client since 2008.



Hospice Waikato (North Island) provides specialist palliative care services for residents of Hamilton City, Ngaruawahia and Cambridge. There is an inpatient unit, in-home services, and also a rural outreach service for residents of outer Waikato. There is a children's and young people's care facility called Rainbow Place. PalCare client since 2011.



Waipuna Hospice (North Island) provides specialist palliative care services to people living in the area from Waihi Beach to Paengoroa. Services are provided 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The community service is complemented by their inpatient unit and day services clinic. PalCare client since 2011.



Warkworth Wellsford Hospice (North Island) provides community specialist palliative care services throughout the Rodney area. The service aims to empower terminally ill patients to live their last weeks and months as they prefer and to allow them to die with peace and dignity. PalCare client since 2007.



West Auckland Hospice (North Island) provides specialist palliative care services to residents of Greater West Auckland, to the west coast beaches, Kumeu and Helensville, and up to the South Kaipara Heads. Services are provided 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. PalCare client since 2007.
